Briers Basketball, in partnership with Special Olympics Ontario, is looking for volunteers for a NEW Learn to Play basketball program for individuals with an intellectual disability! The program will teach participants the FUNdamentals of basketball, but will also be a terrific opportunity for these youth athletes to engage with their peers, get involved in a social setting, and have fun! But none of this is possible without the help of volunteers, which is why we need your help!

Briers Basketball is looking to engage the community to help make this program a successful and sustainable experience for years to come, so if you want to play a role in helping to build and be involved with this program from the outset, then we want to hear from you! This is the perfect chance to gain experience in the field, obtain tangible takeaways, and help give these athletes a memorable experience, so what are you waiting for?

 Briers Basketball and Special Olympics Ontario will be hosting two (2) volunteer information sessions at the RISE Centre in Brantford on the following dates and times:

Time: 7:00pm – 8:00pm                                             Time: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
